What happened to the muse?

"This class has done a good job of engaging my creativity and actually making me want to complete the assignments and even do a good job on them. I am very proud of all the work in this portfolio and would show it to anyone, even my friends, with a sense of accomplishment, as I think it is all meaningful and relevant to my life."

"This class has pushed me to think and see things in abstract ways, forcing me to be a creative individual in “a society that rarely sees the horror in symmetry, or the beauty in nonconformity” (to quote a favorite poet of mine whose poem I just happened to play in class one time), and quite frankly I’m loving every minute of it."
