For this assignment you will create a media page related to the study of film. Your page might take up a broad concern associated with film. These concerns might be similar to those for other media--connections to culture, appeals to emotions, aesthetic elements. Or the concerns might be aligned more directly with the medium--special effects, acting, cinematography, etc.

Another option is to create an auteur page, a media page related to a person connected with film--a page on an actor or director, for instance.

You can also develop a page around some kind of argument or interpretation. You could argue that the romantic comedy as a genre deserves to die. You could explore the motif of the ugly duckling, the wise elder, the inspiring teacher, etc. You could investigate the truth value of documentaries. Any kind of topic you might take up in a traditional essay, could be the focus of the media page.

Develop your page much as you have your other two media pages. Begin by brainstorming ideas for the focus of the page, keeping in mind the way you can develop the video in conjunction with the page as a whole. Once you have a sense of the focus of the page and the video, begin composing the video. When you have the video complete, integrate it into the page, and then continue composing the page so that it covers your topic.
