No Country for Old Men NYT Movie Review

While NYT is known for it's accurate reviews of movies, what it isn't known for are glowing recommendations of anything. However if you look about at its review of No Country for Old Men, the publication appluads the Coen brothers, "nearly perfect execution of a difficult task." Almost as if silencing referencing attempts in the past to adapt McCarthy's difficult narrative structure, i.e All the Pretty Horses, the writer discusses how the Coen Brother effecitvely stayed truthful to the source text, "almost scene for scene." Solidifying what we discussed in class, I just thought it was interesting to hear what a true critic had to say.
