This collage manages to be good without being too gaudy or flashy. One thing that you might want to change is the focus, it seems as though the Raven should stand out just a bit more.

A good collage does not have to contain a lot of stuff. This particular collage is proof. I like the outline of the raven in the sky, this makes it easier to notice and admire. The moon is a great focal point for the collage, and the tree outline creates a very scenic picture. Adding the text is a good idea, because people when reading them, can visualize the rest immediately. I think you could have lost the frame for the author, that way he would have blended in the background as well. Overall, you did a good job on the collage.

I like the way the raven is edged into the sky. Also the colors and background along with the quote work well. You might experiment a bit with the look and feel of the text. I'm not sure about the integration of Poe. I'd see what you can do with masking or arrangement to try to weave him in more subtly.

I basically agree with what the others had to say. I love the simplicity of the collage and I guess it strikes a chord with me since I love The Raven. I also agree that if you were to make Poe's picture more of a part of the night sky, that would make it even more powerful. Otherwise, well done.

I like the simplicity of this collage; however, I would have made use of the masks and opacity a little more. I think Poe's pic would have been a little more dramatic had it blended in with the night sky. But I really like the focal point of the collage. Good job!

This is a very interesting collage. I like that you kept it simple and only added what you needed. The quote at the bottom is wonderful and really stands out because of the color contrast. I feel if the photo of Poe was part of the night sky by croping out the background of the photo it will add a unique quality. The dark colors used in the collage really represent the sadness of the poem. You are off to an excilent start :)
