Watchmen vs Traditional Superheroes

Reflecting on superheroes, many different characters come to mind. Batman, Superman, and Spiderman all fall into the category of larger than life, moral protectors, who are above the law. Most often, such heroes wage an unwavering war against crime and the underworld.

    It’s been a slow day so far for a Saturday. I’m up at the front table when a plump, old lady walks in. Her hair is pulled back in a bun so tight I’m afraid her face would collapse if the rubber band snapped.
    “Hello! How are you!” I call out. I’ve never seen her in the store before.
    “Zoe.” My boss, Amy, beckons me over. “Thats Miss Emily,” She tells me, “she used to drop mad dough in here, but I haven’t seen her in ages. You’re good with the older women, maybe you can get her to open up!”
    It’s true. I do have a knack for getting older ladies to open their wallets. I approach Miss Emily, who is rummaging through our linen pants.
    “Here, I’ll get your size for you! What’s your American size?”
    “Six.”

I just wanted to quickly say that I enjoyed this class, the teacher, the students and the discussions we held. I hope you guys enjoy the rest of your summer!
