As I was reading the novel I noticed a striking similarity between Chigurh and Moss in two scenes. The first is the scene where Moss is at the border to Mexico after being hurt badly in the hotel shootout. He comes across some teens and pays one of them for his jacket. The boy takes the money and is somewhat disgusted by the blood on the bills as well as Moss' wounds, but Moss tells them to move away. The second scene comes at the very end of the story, when Chigurh is hit by the car. He too finds a bystander, a kid, and pays him for his shirt in order to cover the wound that has the boy's friend so utterly sickened. Chigurh then leaves and tells the boys not to mention what happened. It could mean nothing, it could mean everything--I really have no clue at all. I just wanted to see what you guys thought and if anyone ese had noticed something similar? Any other simlarities or symbols you noticed throughout?

When we were first assigned this project, I had a difficult time deciding which musician I wanted to cover in my podcast. I don't have a true "favorite band" so I began to scroll through my iTunes trying to find one that had songs that were both diverse in their composition and meaningful in their lyrical content. The first band that came to mind was Third Eye Blind, whose music always seems to sound different each time I hear it.
