Stargirl
My collage represents Stargirl, a character from the book Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli. Stargirl is a very interesting and eccentric character, and exists with an extraordinary vivacity for life. Each part of my collage represents a different part of Stargirl, or different scenes from the book. She transfers to a high school in Arizona, and all of the kids are amazed and transfixed by her, as she is unlike any girl they've ever met. She loves sunflowers, has a pet rat, and she plays her ukulele in the cafeteria, singing happy birthday to those she has never met. One day, a boy follows her after school, and she walks for miles, far into the desert of Arizona. Finally, the boy becomes so scared, he turns around and runs home. Stargirl is true to her name, because although she is eccentric, her genuine kindness and love for people shines through, for everyone to see.

Yeah I definitely agree that the edging is really good and it looks like you put a lot of time into it, I really like the stars on the right side too and I feel like all your images work together really well! Awesome job :)
I really like the care you
I really like the care you have put into the edging of the elements in the left hand side. There is also a nice use of color and the scaling and arrangement feels good. I see what you are doing with the contrast on the right, but wonder a bit about the split of the canvas. There is so much going on on the left, that the right feels a bit asymmetrical. Can you experiment with the amount of space on the right or the divisions in the canvas as a whole.
