Jackie O. Collage

After trying to revise my Sarah Palin collage, I decided to switch to Jackie Kennedy Onassis, since the election is over, and I have always been fascinated with "Jackie O." Jackie is remembered not only the widow of President JFK, but also as a fashion icon. One of the youngest first ladies in history, she was effortlessly stylish and elegant, throwing lavish parties, entertaining world leaders, and even redecorating the white house. However, many people do not realize the many tragedies in Jackie's life; her usband, JFK was well known to have affairs throughout their marraige, most notably with Marily Monroes;she suffered multiple miscarriages and gave birth to a stillborn baby, and was seated beside her husband the day of his assassination. Through this collage, I wanted to represent both the ever composed first lady, and the many tragedies in her life that make her a real person, as summed up by her quote.

Sarah this turned out great!

Sarah this turned out great! i am so glad you decided to change characters. This Jackie collage looks so much better than the Sarah Palin one. At first i didn't think that the Marilyn and Jackie pictures would look good in front of the black and white background, but i really do think they work perfectly. And the quote that you picked really explains what the collage is about. Under the classy and composed exterior on the colored side, the hardships of Jackie's life are apparent on the black and white side of the collage. After looking at this, i know that the Song of the South collage will be great after we work on it a little more!
