Other Interesting Courses

Completing the portfolio and reflecting back on how different and interesting this course was, it got me thinking about other interesting courses that are available at colleges. Here's a list of 8 really cool actual courses.

Ah, I'd love to take the Learning from Youtube class. I also really like that is says "youtube is more important to college students than noodles."

    Thanks for the link.

Ah no way!  I want to take the Science of Harry Potter--it might make phsyics interesting, for once (I wonder if it's called like, "Mechanics of Quidditch 204" or something awesome like that).  I wish UNC had more courses like this one--I think I've learned more from making the screencast and mashup than I have in any other classes, including the ones in my major.

I was actually thinking about that the other day myself. Some classes UNC offers I tell my friends back at my previous school and they cannot believe it. I'm taking Lit and Media and a class called Shalom Ya'll. It's definitely cool to have options. Though, the classes that are listed there sound way more interesting pop culture wise.

Ha!  This is really interesting that colleges are integrating pop culture into their teachings.  I also heard recently about a Lady Gaga being taught at UVa and another at the University of Southern California.  Kinda crazy.
