LOST AT SEA VIDEO ESSAY

Tell-Tale Heart thoughts...

I really enjoy this piece by Poe, although it is one of his most popular and most read, I feel that it is for good reason. I love the way he manages to capture the mind of the killer so well. You keep asking yourself is he really insane or just very disturbed by the vulture like eye. Its kinda strange how his rationalizations almost make sense to the reader at times. I feel almost like the eye that he describes begins to even disturb me. The tale is told in such an erie and haunting way that makes it seem so realistic.

Life of Pi

Choosing a character for this assignment was not the easiest task. I wanted to use a character or a story that I have read somewhat recently so I would have a fresh memory of the plot. Another important guideline for me was to try to avoid using characters that already have some kind of music or theme song already associated with it. I feel that picking a character with some kind of predisposed music style would hinder the goal of the assignment. So, with pretty much all of the movies I have seen recently not as an option, I decided to go with a book I have recently read.
