For the second half of the assignment which demanded the creation of a collage representing a character from a serious literary work, Jonas from Lois Lowry's novel The Giver. (I will edit this asap with my explanation of these particular images as well- with links to them of course.)

I like this collage a lot too. The overall use of black and the tones really creates a nice mood. Everything does seem to be integrated well, but it is worth thinking about the baby. Also, maybe the fact that it is hard to see the edge of the image with the white on white? WOuld using a border or some other demarcation guide the arrangment of elements like the baby or otherwise help with the framing?
Love this book!
The giver has been one of my favorite books since I first read it. The tree that you have here is exactly as I pictured it would be from the book. I'm not so sure about the baby in the upper right hand corner. Overall I think it looks great.
