Podcasts

I agree with Stephanie, making these and listening to them were two very different things. It was indeed interesting to see which direction each group went in considering how few the guidelines were and how open the horizon was. In retrospect, I think the direction that my own group went in suited us very well. We were easily able to divide the subject up into areas of interest, but this didn't fragment our podcast so the parts still meshed together well. I myself am a terrible public speaker, but I had to do my best to speak clearly and make cogent sentences (which, when you're nervous, isn't easy at all!).

Interesting

I think that the podcasts were really interesting to do. The idea that they had to be completely random with only a few guidelines made them very interesting. Listening to them on the computer after we had finished was really cool as well. I thought that our group seemed to take forever and that there were places where we might have messed up, but then hearing our recording was awesome and I was really happy with the way it came out. It also gave us a good opportunity to meet new people and all come together to produce something as interesting as a mock radio broadcast about topics in literature.
