2nd Revision
I did a lot of little things to make changes to the "Denver collage." The first thing I did was to remove the legs that were dangling over the side of the third shot glass because I felt like they were doing more to distract than to add to the picture. I also felt like the line I had used them to represent wasn't important to the poem, or one of the major points the poem was trying to get across. I also chose to make the second image of the couple at the bar a little bolder because I felt that with the other two images on the shot glasses being a little more vibrant, that this one was blending into the liquid in the glass too much. The next thing I changed was the first shot glass that I used to make it look more like the other shot glasses to give the overall collage a more uniform feeling. I chose a shot glass that still had a crazier look to it because I still wanted it to capture the "rock star" feeling that I was trying to represent from the poem. I also decided to change the girl that was placed on top of the glass. I chose a picture that did not include the entire woman's body because I wanted the idea of the rock star to be more clearly expressed, which I felt like this could be done if the image was bigger and more focused on the face. I tried blended this image into the shot glass because I got the feeling that the woman the man was watching from across the bar seemed to be someone that he was admiring from afar and by blending her into the shot glass I was trying to show that she became more and more accessible to the narrator as she gets bolding in the next picture when he approaches her. I also decided to make all of the shot glasses bigger so that the images on top of them could be seen more clearly and make more of an effect like I feel the poem wanted them to. The last thing that I did was to edit the words from the opening of the poem at the top of the collage. I used different backdrop and colors to try to make the words stand out more which was a challenge considering that there are both really dark colors and really light colors in that part of the collage.
