Stephanie, I like the elements you've selected for the collage. I think the flag and farmhouse are working well and the division in the middle is fine. My biggest questions have to do with the placement/blending of the faces. There is a sort of washed out feel to both spaces above and below the mountain path. Can you perhaps rotate the man's face and have it rising up from the path, and then change the opacity so it is not so blened with the background. Maybe something similar, or some other technique for the woman? I just feel like the way those two elements fade in to the image is preventing some kind of statement from coming through. Otherwise, this is almost there, I think. Nice work.
