Jennifer Lopez's Voicemail. I worked with Mary Lide Parker on this project and we had put our sweat and blood into the best voicemail EVER...then the computer CRASHED! Dan said we could just put this up becuase my microphone stopped working and everything seemed to fall apart at the same time! Also.. I need to learn how to back up from the microphone! Either way, it was a good experience to mess around with Audacity before we dove into the Podcasts.

Mother Nature's voicemail

Paris Hilton is an American socialite, singer, actress, fashion model, author, and heiress. She also, recently, became a felon. In order to create her voicemail we reenacted the night that she was arrested for DUI. She begins at a party scene with a friend, and then leaves after one too many drinks ~ all while recording her voicemail.

Sarah and I put together this voicemail of Forrest Gump and his wife Jenny with "Sweet Home Alabama" by Lynard Skynard in the background. Obviously these characters are inspired by the 1994 film Forrest Gump featuring Tom Hanks. The voice of Forrest is actually clips from the movie and Jenny's voice is mine. We wanted to convey that Forrest and Jenny love each other very much and are proud of their homestate, Alabama. Also we wanted to show Forrest's devotion and respect for his mother. I hope you enjoy listening to our voicemail- we enjoyed making it!

What we have here is simply a little lighthearted and very pointless voicemail, between God and Satan. Of course we do not intend to start a Jihad. So don't go calling for our heads. Thanks!

Sydney and I created a voicemail message for Eustace Conway, the man in charge of Turtle Island Preserve. He lives completely off the land and is called the "last american man". Turtle Island preserve is a place for folks to go and learn about how to live off the land and become less dependent on commercial society. Here's our voicemail.
