Munashe and I worked together to interview students at UNC about their roommates. We pretty much went our separate ways to interview a diverse population, but then when we came back together to compile the podcast, we realized that we'd have to cut out a lot of good information to make it a reasonable time. As a result, we decided to split the project into two parts. My podcast starts off with an interview, and then further explains the objective with brief narratives between each section.

This is our final product. In our podcast we explored what our fellow students did in their free time. Do you think that we were right in our final assessment?

This project was not as challenging as I thought it would be. I was confident that I would accomplish it, but my procrastination always causes me some anxiety. As I said before this is my research on people's guilty musical pleasures and whether or not they exist. I was quite intrigued by my findings, but at the same time I was surprised how much "guilty" music is still a part of people's lives. Anyway, here it is:

Beth and I decided to do our podcast on the various types of dancing present within the students at Chapel Hill. Our first assumption was that the majority of the population would like to either shag dance or hip-hop dance. However, after the interviews we found that the most popular are Salsa and Hip-hop and not many people like to shag. Three of the interviewees preferred salsa, three preferred hip-hop, one preferred contra-dance and two-preferred not to dance at all. We also decided that there is no correlation between people who dont like to dance and people who dont like music.
