In my revised playlist I wanted to bring out the main points of the collage more than the original. I made the entire collage black and white. I also blurred and distorted the images surrounding the people kissing to emphasize the couple. These revisions enhanced my collage making the project better display my playlist.

I think that this collage speaks for itself as to who I am.

This collage is for my playlist of Dean Moriarty's life. I chose 4 pictures all on top of one another showing through. The one on top is of a dirt road out in the country, which goes along with the theme of Dean driving across the country, living where he wants, usually out in the country. The next picture is a picture of a face, wearing sunglasses in a car, looking off out the windshield, which represents Dean's uncertainty of where he's going. Then there's a powerline and a field and an open sky, which again goes along with the theme of Dean being "on the road" his whole life. On the bottom is a blurry shot taken by my sister driving along in the car out the window.

This collage represents my playlist, "Across the Room." My playlist consist of Josh and Kate who meet at a party. The collage represents everyone dancing at the parties they regularly attended. Through a rough relationship, the end of my playlist allows Josh and Kate to finally know they need to be together. Josh and Kate are the people kissing in the collage. Everything around them is blurred or slightly distorted because when they were together nothing else mattered. The black and white represents the simplicity of their relationship that they needed to be together.

My playlist tells of the story that Gone with the Wind tells. It follows the main character Scarlett so that’s why she is in the center. Her relationship with Rhett Butler is central to story and although it is not always visible in the story, it is nevertheless important. One of the climaxes of the story is when Scarlett has to stand up on her own two feet to be strong and take care of her family. I choose the highly dramatic still from the movie with Scarlett and Rhett in the sunset to be the center of the collage. This photo is the point where she wants to cling forever to Rhett but he has to leave her to go fight in the Civil War. It is a deciding moment in the story where Scarlett has a choice to make.

My playlist was about a girl who has to break away from her parents to learn life lessons on her own. She encounters a man that shows her one path, and she has to choose between a life where she surrenders to temptation and a life where she resists them. http://www.flickr.com/photos/unfiltered/135051512/

Play List Collage This collage represented my play list through selected pictures. I wanted to show the division between my friend and me while also including things that kept us connected. The songs range from departing friends to the assurance that two people will never forget one another. The feelings felt by each are on the side with the two separated friends in the collage. From this my play list has more meaning to me and I hope others are still, if not better, able to relate to it all. Heart Picture of Girls |
