I chose AIDS as my topic for a video collage because it is something I have always been involved with. It is a terrible epidemic, and the more I learn about it, the more I learn about how many people don't know enough about it. I am hoping my video will teach people a little bit about HIV/AIDS. My video focuses on sub-saharan Africa because that is where it is worst. The music in the backround is sung by AIDS orphans.

So its 12:30. I have been working on my video collage all day, trying to make it good, getting all the details put together. All the sudden, the Windows Movie Maker starts to crash. I have saved my project recently, so its no big deal. I restart it and then spend a bunch of time transfering my whole project to a new timeline in the hopes preventing it from crashing. I don't know why I thought this would help, I just did. So I finish transfering all my crap and I'm reaching my mouse to the save button, and it crashes. I am pretty sure I have not done a single project in this class that hasn't somehow ruined my day.

I have really enjoyed this class. When I first came into it, I was really not looking forward to taking an average english class and just writing papers and doing things that I would probably never have to do in my life. But I have learned so much about things that I will actually probably use later in life. It has been a really helpful class. I really like this final assignment because we have the opportunity to use all the things we have already worked with in class, like audacity and photoplus, and put them together to create this one awesome message that is important to us. I think its a really good idea.

Life in Mexico Playlist
This assignment was really quite fun for me. At first, I wasn't sure if this was really a good idea because I just thought to myself "Oh, its a playlist, this is easy. Why are we doing this?" But then I really spent a lot of time on it and really began to learn the essentials of collaborating something using creativity and not just writing a paper. Choosing songs that really say something about an important moment for you is not easy, and it really helped me remember things I would probably have forgotten about an important time of my life. I had to dig deep to get these memories, and the songs I chose for my memories were great a lot of fun to pick out.

so when I ended classes in may, i was soooo looking forward to a few months of just relaxing, getting away from 12 hour days of class and tons of homework. but this summer has been my most stressful summer yet. taking classes is fine, i don't mind that, but on top of classes i am working every day, no weekends, just rushing from place to place without any time to stop and take a deep breath. my friends are mad at me for overloading myself with work and class, but its not like i can do anything about that. and because of work, i don't have any time at night to have a social life because i have to do my homework at night.

hey. i still can't get my podcast on this website. apparently, my computer has a grudge against me, and unfortunately it is outsmarting me every step of the way. please please please help! what can i do to post my podcast? it is an mp3 now, i did that, but i can't open it and make the website thing we did in class the other day. i would greatly appreciate any comments people have.

I'm pretty frustrated. For some reason, my paper is taking up 1.9 megabytes, which is way over the limit for attaching onto a blog apparently. I don't understand. Is there anybody who can give me some advice?
